Founders decided to kick off 2017 by notifying their avid customers of six new ales being released before years’ end. It gives us none other than Frootwood; cherry ale aged in oak barrels, previously holding bourbon and maple syrup. Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?
To anyone who regularly enjoys Founders ales, you’re in for an exceptional treat. Our editor had the opportunity to give it a whirl.
“Just came back from Brass Tap here in San Antonio,…”
he had to say.
“they had the Founders Frootwood. One of the best beers I’ve had recently. Taste is between cider and amber beer. Smooth finish and easy to pair with sliders.”
